Cancellation/ Refund Policy:

For a full refund, less the non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $50 per participant, ($100 per participant for Spooky Nook and Cedar Point Resort Camps), notice of cancellation must be made in writing and received in the AmeriCheer Corporate Office no later than 21 days (three weeks) prior to your camp date. No refunds will be given after this deadline for the following: no-shows, camps interrupted due to injury, illness, vacations or disciplinary reasons. Participants and coaches/advisors who join camp late or leave early will not receive partial refunds or pro-rated charges. School Spirit Program

Oh, so perfect for Game Day Round-up! At any Resident Camp, we’ll emphasize a variety of themes, activities, and techniques that will definitely maximize your Game Day School Spirit. To fully experience the AmeriCheer Spirit Program, some light preparation is recommended.

The following briefly highlights some of the activities that will take place at any Resident Camp. This will be a great place to learn and gain ideas from all attending teams and to take back to your school for implementation.

• Day 1 – Hall/Door Decorating Contest

Display your best spirit by creatively decorating your dorm room doors and/or hallway with balloons, streamers, signs, etc. or any other imaginative display of spirit. The decorations will be judged at the conclusion of day one just before lights-out for the best display!

• Day 2 – Run-Through/Banner Contest

Morning Session – Create a banner with a slogan that is perfect for your team to use as a school spirit sign to hang at school or to use as a Game Day run-through for the big game. On day two of camp, you will then hang the banner in the camp instructional site for all camp attendees to view and the AmeriCheer staff will judge the one considered the best-of-the-best.

• Day 2 (continued) – Camp Theme Day Contest

Evening Session – After dinner, join in by adorning your best display of the AmeriCheer Summer Camp Theme – Game Day Round-up! Think of cowboy/girl apparel, hats, badges, vests, boots, etc. when creatively thinking how to best partake in this fun activity. Remember, the very best display will receive an end of camp award for the most creative/ best display of the camp theme!

• Every Camp Day – Spirit Stick Spirit Rally

Each evening, each team and the AmeriCheer Staff will participate in our most important and energized camp activity, our Spirit Stick “pep rally”!  This is where the AmeriCheer Staff will “pump it up” with music and energy galore as we award the earned daily Spirit Sticks to teams that displayed their best when it comes to showing genuine spirit, exhibiting teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, punctuality cooperation and so much more! Additionally, we will award some other daily awards as a great way to complete the rally.

Note: All School Spirit Program activities will recognize winners of each category at the Final Awards Ceremony on the Final Day.
